Ady, a 13-year-old boy, no longer listens to his father, who is raising him on his own in France. Worried and exasperated, his father decides to entrust Ady to the care of his brother Amadou, who lives with his family in Burkina Faso. There, his uncle confiscates Ady’s passport and forces him to live the hard-knock life that everyone in his Burkinabe family is already used to. With help from his cousin Jean and grandmother Mame, Ady gradually opens up to a new world and a new way of being.

In French and Dioula with English subtitles.
